Working under a very tight schedule, produced a live action car & model shoot, plus handled a significant portion of the CGI-heavy post-production, for a suite of College Football promos for ESPN sponsored by Buick automobiles 2016 lineup, via Motomo Studio in Westwood. Lead by a visionary creative director/designer, Motomo principal Carsten Becker, I worked with an amazing live production team to capture the cars beauty on digital film, so our talented team of CG artists & designers could composite them in an entirely CGI environment using post tools C4D, Maya, and the Adobe CS. Beautiful work by all involved. |

Under a very tight deadline for its premiere at the American Music Awards, I post-produced this gorgeous and evocative music video, plus it's companion car commercial, featuring the new lineup of Fiat Chrysler vehicles. Working with an awesome team of artists, compositors and a stellar support crew at Big Block in Santa Monica, using high-end post tools Nuke, Flame, and Smoke for beauty, cleanup, stabilization and some dope but subtle VFX shots. Proof is in the pudding. We made the live AMA broadcast just in time! |

Working with outside studio STATE DESIGN, produced Opening Titles for the NFL's MOCK DRAFT LIVE show, examining player Draft heading into the 2015 football season. State's gorgeous design, created by their fantastic team of 3D artists used a clean, machined, glossy look to subtly highlight the NFL shield and corporate sponsor Verizon, while putting all the (literal) shine onto the show title for a spectacular effect. |

Working with our stellar designers, I produced the visuals of this punched-up, high-energy reimagining of the :10 Opening Title for NFL Up!, the popular pro footballer's workout series from NFL Digital Features. My years of music video editing chops came in handy in a big way here as, working with Sr. Designer Beau DeSilva, we created this rhythmically-driven, splashy, colorful, and deceptively intricate animation, using a mix of live action elements, custom designed 3D liquid textures, and a HELLUVA LOT of rotoscoping! We also re-configured the opening with addition of logo of sponsor Gatorade, naturalistically incorporating their branding into our rich, textured environment. |

"CIGARETTES ARE EATING YOU ALIVE" :30 psa - nyc dept. of health

Commissioned by the good folks at boutique agency DCF ADVERTISING to produce and direct this :30 PSA for the New York Dept. of Health, we first narrowed down the perfect idea from several concepts with a round of 6 proof-of-concept spots that I directed in different cinematic styles (film noir, western, horror, etc.). This CG heavy spot is the result of focus-group testing for messaging effectiveness, and gave us the winning approach to the campaign's final execution. I took it to production, directing my live smokers against bluescreen, and building accurate and photo-real X-ray-style imaging of smoking's effect on the body via CGI with my graphics team lead by stellar animator/designer Genya Lugina. I edited the spots on my in-house Final Cut Pro systems, and the hoarse rasp of my VO talent and the excellent audio mix of Now Hear This in NYC melded it all together seamlessly. The result are 2 Telly Awards for me as Producer and another for Creative Editing. Sweet! |
